Golden Grain | Hand-Turned Bocote Hardwood Slim-Line Pen

Golden Grain puts one of Bocote’s most distinctive features front and center: its grain. Long ribbons of dark chocolate brown run through warmer golden-brown wood, creating natural lines and movement that continue around the entire pen.

The Bocote blank was individually turned, shaped and polished at the lathe, revealing grain patterns that were already waiting inside the wood. The polished finish deepens the contrast while preserving the natural character that makes Bocote so immediately recognizable.

Built in the Slim-Line style, Golden Grain is paired with gold-finish hardware, giving the warm hardwood an understated metallic complement. Its slender traditional profile and simple twist mechanism keep the design clean, allowing the remarkable Bocote grain to remain the centerpiece.

Like every hand-turned writing instrument from Perfect Imperfections, this piece was individually turned, finished, polished and assembled. Natural variations in grain, color and figuring belong to this particular piece of Bocote, making the finished pen uniquely its own.
