African Cocobolo | Hand-Turned Hardwood Slim-Line Pen

African Cocobolo lets one of the most striking hardwoods do what it does best. Rich reddish-brown tones, darker streaks and naturally shifting grain run through this hand-turned pen, giving the finished piece depth and character that only real wood can provide.

The Cocobolo blank was individually turned, shaped and polished at the lathe, revealing grain patterns and color variations that were already waiting inside the wood. The polished finish deepens those warm tones while preserving the natural figuring that makes Cocobolo so distinctive.

Built in the Slim-Line style, the pen is paired with brushed satin-finish hardware. The softer metallic finish gives the warm, dark wood a clean contemporary contrast without stealing attention from the material itself. A simple twist mechanism keeps the profile slender, comfortable and traditional.

Like every hand-turned writing instrument from Perfect Imperfections, this piece was individually turned, finished, polished and assembled. The grain, color and natural variations belong to this particular piece of Cocobolo, making the finished pen uniquely its own.
