Yellow Spalted Maple | Hand-Turned Wine Stopper

Bright, bold and full of natural character, this one-of-a-kind wine stopper was hand-turned from yellow stabilized spalted maple and paired with polished chrome hardware.

Stabilizing gives the wood additional strength while preserving the spalting, grain and natural markings that make the maple distinctive. The vivid yellow color brings those patterns forward, while the hand-turned profile gives the piece a sculptural quality from every angle.

The polished chrome stopper features flexible sealing rings designed to fit securely in the neck of a wine bottle, turning an everyday accessory into a small piece of functional art.

Turned, shaped, sanded, polished and assembled by hand in the Perfect Imperfections workshop.
